Agro tourism with a saccharine twist, this attraction showcases the long-standing love affair between Johor and pineapples. Ladang Nanas in Alor Bukit is, as the name suggests, a pineapple estate. With the rich history involving pineapples in the state, no visit to Johor is complete without a visit to a pineapple plantation. Unofficially, there are 80 different species of pineapples found here, approximately one-third of the world’s total pineapple species. After learning about the cultivation process, visitors are invited to bite into some of the most juicy, luscious pineapple that the estate has to offer. Ladang Nanas is a government-owned property, with a pineapple research facility on-site studying this amazing fruit.
