Cordell Hull was the longest serving Secretary of State (11 years) and this is his birthplace. The land was granted to his family as payment for service in the Revolutionary War and it is still in the family. If you are into history, you will enjoy a walk through this State Historic Park. Look him up before visiting to get a more complete picture.
