Watch local shrimpers bring in their haul- and pick a couple pounds of fresh shrimp while you're there! Beautiful park in close proximity and near a quaint tiny town called Rockville. While you're enjoying the drive, stop by the Angel Oak Tree, Firefly Distillery and/or America's only Tea Plantation!

In the mood to watch an awesome sunset or sunrise over the water... just be quiet and take in the view of the passing boats and catch the site of the local shrimp docks, outskirts of the historic village of Rockville and passing boats? Head to Cherry Point Boat Landing. It's chill and a "locals only kinda know about this place" spot. While you are down there you can stop at Cherry Point Seafood shrimp dock (you will drive right past the entry) and buy some fresh shrimp straight off the boat.
