This place is a local staple. Friends and family who have visited talk about this place and because the chicken tenders are so good. The blueberry donuts are a reason for a special trip! Did you even go to Tupelo if you didn't go to Connies???? You have to get a BLUEBERRY DONUT!!! This local fav is located right across from NMMC hospital. They offer the BEST fried chicken in all of Tupelo. They have sandwiches, strips, and other delicious items on the menu. This place is my favorite because it is budget-friendly, you don't have to dress up fancy, and it's just a feel-good local place to eat. The blueberry donut is so good here that local restaurants buy them and make desserts with them... Yes .... they are that good. Life is short. Eat the donut.

“Modest counter-serve restaurant specializing in chicken, blueberry donuts & biscuits & gravy.” The best chicken biscuits in town! Add some gravy and you have a messy, scrumptious, out of this world chicken biscuit!
