In addition to visiting the Market Square (Rynek) it is also worth walking the streets of Gliwice's old town. The old town is small, but you will find some architectural gems and interesting monuments, incl. remains of the old city walls, the Piast Castle, the church of All the Saints. While walking, you can visit one of the local ice cream places like Kawiarnia z Pasją or Zimy Drań. Artisan ice cream is something you must try while in Gliwice!
