A must-see for Elvis enthusiasts! Tupelo’s oldest restaurant and a favorite haunt of The King himself! Step back in time and sit in the Elvis booth. Don’t shy away from the signature Johnnie burger (a dough-filled burger from the rationing era). It’s cash only so go prepared, but don’t fret - the prices are from another time as well!

“This place is a right of passage, with a personality all its own, brimming with character. Pretty much everything you get is deep fat fried, large portions, fair prices. The burgers have a great taste, no frills, just good old fashioned 1970 style burger joint, made alittle famous by the fact that elvis is said to of ate there often. Good old no frills food.” I crave a no frills deep fried burger occasionally and this is the place to go! Lunch time during the week can be really busy.

Elvis Presley high school hangout. The dough ("slug") burgers are good.
