Scampston is a lovely Georgian House with extensive designer gardens, cafe and a busy events calendar that is definitely worth checking out. It is only about 4 miles from the cottages.

I really recommend this place for the beautiful Capability Brown parkland and stunning walled garden. There’s also a great cafe for tea and cake! Yum!
