A lovely place with loads of character and one of the best kitchens I have ever used in an Airbnb! The location in the west end is worth of a special mention: you’ll be only minutes away from beautiful walks by the river Kelvin, the botanical gardens and loads of great restaurants.

Malheureusement géré par une boîte sans doute un peu légère. Le ménage laissait vraiment à désirer (poubelles pas vidées du locataire précédent qui ne devait pas être récent). L’aspirateur n’avait sûrement pas été passé depuis bien longtemps bref arrivée assez désagréable. Le ménage est tout de même facturé grassement...

Great flat - poor communication. The flat was clean and comfortable though we had trouble communicating with the host. The check in process was complicated since we got to pick a check in time (we needed a place to store our bags) and then after booking we were told it wasn't possible at all. The communication consisted of mostly copy paste messages and when we did get a non-robot answer it was unhelpful. The service felt really impersonal. When I called to get in touch I reached some sort of customer service office that seemed to be outsourced to a separate company.

Some other examples of why we gave a low score

- We met neigbours in the hallway who questioned why we were there and were unaware of that a flat in their house was being used for Airbnd.
- The WiFi was very slow since it seemed to be running on mobile data.
- There was no toaster or microwave and based on the other reviews we expected a fully functioning kitchen.
- The information was a bit outdated. For example they had listed the closest hospital as Western Infirmary - which closed down years ago and has been torn down.

Caroline's place was great: close to the University of Glasgow library (which I needed to use); bright and clean, a lovely aroma in the living room especially, and stylish furnishing all round. Really appreciated the supply of the basics- oil, pasta, rice in the kitchen & shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I communicated with Dave throughout my trip- had no problems, he was always happy to help and very accommodating. This really is a great flat; it had all the space my friend and I needed. The living room and bedroom were especially inviting as they really caught the sunlight. A comfortable and great stay!
