The experience is quite “touristy”. Up on the mountain there are many jeeps and people are taking pictures non-stop, flashing lights, but that was expected. Sunrise was beautiful!
What made this experience 5 stars was our jeep driver Gede. We did not expect stories and explanation about volcano, lava and local life. He also took amazing photos! That was a very nice surprise.
The hot springs are quite full of people, not our favorite part. But the coffee plantation was a nice experience, because we could see not only coffee growing but also lots of other plants and fruits.

It was definitely the highlight of the trip to Bali! Dekir, our driver, showed up right on time and kept us entertained with cool local tidbits.
When we started the climb, Redita, our hiking guide, was super friendly and knew exactly how to keep the pace comfy for everyone. He shared tons of interesting facts about the volcano, took awesome photos and videos (the shots turned out amazing), and was totally professional—always ready with a tip or a story.
We hit the summit just as the sun was popping up—totally magical.
Huge thanks to Dekir for the smooth ride and to Redita for the fantastic guide, the great pics/video, and the coffee treat. Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone looking for an amazing sunrise adventure!
