We had a great time! The in depth explanation of different tea leaves and spice combinations for chai was unique. The food was excellent and we found it easy to follow along to prepare.

Poonam was a fantastic teacher! We loved learning fun facts behind chaat and chai while learning how to make each recipe.

I had a pretty good stay overall, but some infrastructure improvements would make it truly stand out.

Pros: Poonam (the host) was very friendly and super easy to reach. I felt like if I had any questions or issues I could reach out and she'd help resolve them. I also loved the shower, and the home was in a very peaceful neighborhood that was walkable to where I needed to go for work. I didn't use the walk-in closet, but it seemed spacious.

Cons: The photos of the kitchen in the listing are accurate, but I don't think they showcase that the kitchen is in a very small, minimally ventilated room with a sloped ceiling. The microwave and toaster oven worked well, though. Also, the door that connects the unit with the rest of the house let through a lot of sound.

Overall, a fair value for the location. With some careful attention to sound blocking, I'm confident this could be a very pleasant place to stay in the future.

This home was cozy and comfortable for a work trip in the Peninsula. It is an upper room above the garage in a single family home.
