Very informative and interesting tour - well worth doing if you are visiting Exeter and want to know more about the history of the city, and its ancient architecture. Davy is a warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable guide. There is so much to cover in the time that he can tailor your tour to any areas that you are particularly interested in, otherwise go with the flow for an amazing 1000 years an hour journey!

What a wonderful experience the kids and parents had!

We were lucky to have Davy just for our family. He was ever so generous with his knowledge and time. His experience, his deep knowledge, his friendly and caring attitude, and his natural leadership made the visit uniquely engaging. He adjusted the pace and wording of his explanations to the kids' interest and language proficiency, aptly triggered the entire family's interest and curiosity, and flexibly adapted the visit's structure to weather and needs. When he sensed the kids' enthusiasm, he even made an extra detour to show us a few extras.

We not only discovered places one would otherwise never have access to - we also learned about Exeter's history and traditions directly from one of the city's main actors (not saying more, not to spoil it for other visitors.) This experience will remain one of the main highlights of our summer holiday in England!
