The food tour in Playa del Carmen was an absolutely amazing experience! It was the perfect mix of culture, local flavor, and fun. Every stop offered something unique — from authentic street tacos to refreshing local drinks and delicious desserts. You could really taste the passion and pride in every bite.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even better by sharing stories about the history and traditions behind each dish. I loved exploring parts of Playa I wouldn’t have found on my own — it felt like getting a true local’s perspective.

Mauricio Knowledge of local food is excellent . He shows you all the local spots to eat with the best taco , Tamalas and deserts. I laid back easy walking great food . Thank you for sharing with me really enjoyed the tour.

We had an amazing time touring Playa del Carmen with Mauricio! It was wonderful to support a local business owner who has big dreams for growth and an incredible depth of knowledge about the city’s history and cuisine. His tour gave us the chance not only to taste delicious food and experience the culture, but also to get a small glimpse into the perspective of locals in a city often overrun by tourism.
