An authentic experience to discover the Kogui community and talk a bit with them. There were only 4 persons in the group which is perfect! We had an amazing swimming spot on the river. Juan organized everything perfectly and has a very good knowledge of the Kogui culture. It is closer to Tayrona than Santa Marta.
We highly recommend it.

If you love nature, history, and anthropology, and would like to have a physical experience that embodies all of them, this is the tour for you. It was nothing short of fantastic. Juan Diego is a wonderful guide with a passion for what he does. This experience was without question one of the highlights of my five months touring in Colombia.

Una actividad única, no sólo por tener la oportunidad de conocer a los miembros y el hogar de la tribu Kogui, sino también por el excelente servicio brindado por Juan Diego y el grupo seleccionado por él para el transporte y la comida. Juan Diego es una belleza de persona, que te hace sentir que lo conoces de toda la vida, adicionalmente conoce muy bien del tema vinculado a la tribu, la comunidad a la cual pertenece, y muchos otros más, su capacidad de relatar es fascinante y te mantiene cautivado. Durante la actividad tuvimos la oportunidad de bañarnos en el río, hablar con el mamu y líder de la tribu, y tambien interactuar con otros interesados en compartir, la tribu te recibe con mucho cariño, la sonrisa de los niños que forman parte de ella valen oro y es de las bonitas memorias que guardo. Agradecida con Juan Diego por hacer posible esta actividad, por el conocimiento que me llevo, por la calidad de sus atenciones. Apoyar este tipo de actividades es una forma de no sólo soportar a la tribu sino también la comunidad alrededor de ella.
