Born in Vila de Oeiras, located 15 km away from Lisbon, where the river meets the sea.
Both sides of my family, from my mothers and my fathers side, are connected to the sport of sailing. My connection to the sea and boats, comes from there. Ever since I started walking I also started sailing with them, particularly my fathers brothers, participating in regattas in rio Tejo and having family cruises, from Algarve all the way to Oporto.
