Bill - Thank you so much for such a fabulous morning exploring Odin’s Mine, May Tor, and Castleton! We were so looking forward to it, and it was even better than expected. Lovely to walk in a small and friendly group, chatting away, whilst learning about the local area (you just don’t pick up these details from a map). Lots of laughs were had, and thank you for the Monsal Trail recommendation for our last day!

A superb walk in a beautiful location which revived us in body and mind Bill is a considerate and well organised guide who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local area and has lots of interesting conversation.. We felt in safe hands and thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the gorgeous views from hilltops. We also had fun mooching round the little village and relaxing in a lovely cafe garden. Bill ensures each person is safe and can go at a pace that suits them. We slept well after our walk too!

Bill is a great guy and guide. The walk was well planned and unhurried. The focus was on enjoying the experience rather than rushing to the destination. I look forward to walking with Bill and his friends in the near future.

Whilst I knew this tour would be great, it turned out to be fantastic! Bill is really knowledgeable and he is such an interesting guy. I was fortunate to be the only one on the tour and it felt like I had my own personal guide! We walked further than expected, at my request, managed to collect some ‘blue John’ and even met some guys who had just been right down into Odins mine. All in all it was just fantastic and today will now hold some very special memories for me. Thanks Bill and keep hiking! 😊
