Overall, the tour was excellent. The itinerary was well-planned and efficient, allowing us to experience so much within the time we had. Our guide was especially wonderful – their upbeat energy and enthusiasm made the whole experience memorable. Wishing you continued success with your business!

Our host Josh was personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable about San Francisco history. The tour was overall great and the bus was clean and comfortable. I liked that the guide asked folks to take turns in the front seat so that no one had to sit in the middle seats for 3 hours. They provided small water bottles which was great, but I would've liked an opportunity to grab a small snack or drink (coffee because we did the morning slot) midway—my energy was seriously waning 2 hours in! We didn't interact at all with the other folks in the group, it was pretty quiet. Lastly, I think the food recommendations they give at the end could be freshened up—I was hoping for some innovative hidden gems to check out rather than touristy places in North Beach and Chinatown. If you're brand-new to SF I would say go for this solid tour of the city!

A Must-Try Vintage VW Van Tour in SF!

This was my first time in San Francisco, and this tour served as my perfect introduction to the city...it couldn’t have been a better first experience!

Chad and Josh (who doubled as driver, guide, and photographer) were incredibly helpful. Josh in particular stood out: his deep local knowledge made every stop meaningful, as his explanations helped me understand San Francisco’s stories beyond the surface. He also has a great sense of humor that kept the mood light the whole time, and his photography skills are top-notch!

One of the biggest highlights was that they took us to less-trodden spots most tourists miss. It felt pleasant surprise that made the tour feel more unique.

All in all, I 100% recommend the VW Van Vintage Tour. If you’re visiting SF and want a fun, insightful, and one-of-a-kind way to see the city, this is it!

Such a wonderfully thoughtful journey, filled with warm details and little surprises. The tour guide (driver) was extremely friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The retro minibus was absolutely stunning and turned many heads on the street.
