My tasting experience was hosted by Esteban and I had an exceptional time. As the only guest that day, I was treated to a wonderfully personal and immersive experience. Esteban’s depth of knowledge about mezcal and Oaxacan moles was remarkable. He guided me through each tasting with insight and enthusiasm, illuminating the nuances of flavor, origin, and tradition. The setting was intimate and beautifully situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Oaxaca, adding to the charm of the experience. A delightful blend of culture, flavor, and hospitality. What a great experience. The event was very organized and well thought out. The mezcals we tasted were interesting and different from each other and then brought out unique flavors in both the mezcal and the sorbet when paired together. It was a really fun and educational way to try mezcals, even if you've done other tastings before. We were a group of 3 and everyone really enjoyed it. Daniel was a great guide through it all and was able to answer all of our questions about mezcal and all our other tangents. Highly recommend.
