This visit was such a special experience! We got to meet the entire herd and hear the individual stories of each horse, how they were rescued from the equestrian industry. It was eye-opening to learn about the exploitation many of them went through, and so inspiring to see how loved and cared for they are now.

The horses are so clean, friendly, and absolutely adorable!! you can really feel how safe and happy they are in this sanctuary. You can tell the people here truly love what they do and care deeply about each animal. I left feeling grateful, emotional, and full of admiration for their work.

Having an opportunity to roam freely with the Herd is very unique and to hear each horses background is very moving. These are beautifully cared for and dignified horses that teach all of us humans how to have tolerance, faith, resilience and respect. Everyone should visit an animal sanctuary, especially horses. Denna was an amazing host and all the horses were so nice! We came with a group of 4 and Denna did a great job introducing us to the herd. She was very knowledgeable and walked us through all their histories. We had such a unique experience watching the horses play with water and got to walk around the pasture to be with the horses in their natural environment. Special shout out to Rio who was such a cuddly horse! Denna added many personal touches to our experience and we would definitely recommend!
