Yuko’s tour was very special and personal. She was a great host. She planned this journey so well especially with the Zoom call we had before our tour. The pacing was perfect—super relaxed and leisurely, and we saw many many things and really enjoyed the beauty of Kyoto with her guidance. Yuko made the whole experience unique, designed around what we wanted to see and do. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day with Yuko exploring Kyoto and learning Japanese. This was the highlight of our trip in Japan. Yuko was friendly, warm and welcoming. I had an absolutely magical tour with Yuko-san and HIGHLY recommend her for solo or group tours! I am on 2 week solo trip to Japan, mainly in Kyoto. In person, Yuko-san is friendly, easy-going and incredibly knowledgeable. She included an unexpected little walk around the neighborhood adjacent to my hotel, pointing out interesting landmarks and favorite cafes and restaurants. I worried we might run out of things to talk about on a full day solo tour but the day just flew by! Yuko is an incredibly good host! Super responsive and supportive even months prior to our stay, giving great tips, even a discount for an eSIM, and question to our answers before a first trip to Japan.
The place is close to Kyoto Station area, but in a cozy and quiet residential area. Perfect location and very nice house, with comfy beds, big bathroom, kitchen and washing machine we could use.
It was so much fun to explore this famous and beautiful city and go out izakaya style with Yuko. Thanks again!
