Got to see a very tranquil side of Tokyo.

This tour was the most unique and soothing experience we’ve had in Japan. The walk is not difficult but be prepared to walk a lot! Toshi is an amazing person who knows so much about the area (suburbs of Tokyo): we learned about the history, flora and fauna, saw and could distinguish birds, flowers, and different types of cherry blossoms (we were lucky enough to take the tour during cherry blossoms time!). We also visited some local shrines and we were literally the only people there! The meeting point was easy to find and get to (Toshi sent us very detailed instructions) and we absolutely loved the lunch as well. We took some of the most beautiful photos during the tour. What a fantastic six hours away from crowds! Great glimpse into country life — small farms, towns and communities — and plenty of time to appreciate nature. We saw cherry blossoms, tasted oranges and canola flowers, and listened to bamboo trees dancing in the wind. Noodles, tempura and croquettes for lunch completed a restorative day. Thank you, Toshi, for taking the time to share so many details and stories! Highly recommend this experience.
