If you’re looking for a different type of history from your high school history book, one that explores the story of immigrants and settlers, slaves and businessmen, Larry is your guy. He talks about cobbles under your feet, the importance of the buildings and architecture surrounding you, and the origins of famous plays and books that you never knew. Artfully introducing you to the start of a story at one location, then finishing its tale at a different building around the block, tying the pieces together with his delightful intrigue, he is a joy.

With his long, white beard, his care to address everyone personally, and his charismatic bohemian style, Larry is a fount of deep history that you never knew. The dates and places from history books are child’s-play used to fill the blanks; he wants to tell you the little mentioned stories that had significant consequences you’ve never heard. The best walking tour I’ve ever had!
