Luigi and Patrizia welcomed my wife and me into their home from the moment we arrived and from there began 6 hours of what felt like a visit with good friends.

Patrizia led us through preparing and cooking multiple Sicilian dishes with tips and background along the way. She had also prepared additional dishes on her own. Through it all we talked about the history of the food, as well as our lives and families. Through it all Luigi helped, poured wine, and took pictures to document the evening.

Then once all was prepared we ate, and ate, then ate some more. Working our way through some 8 or 9 courses topped off with samples of special liqueurs that Luigi was eager to showcase.

Truly a one of a kind night!

Patrizia was a very welcoming and friendly host. She had gathered fresh ingredients to match our cooking preferences and involved all of us in the experience. She had organized a translator. We learned not only how to cook, but also some of the history and background behind the dishes. We highly recommend the class. We cooked a meal not just for our group, but also for 6 other people who joined us after the class and ate with us. The communal dinner was also very nice, with a beautifully set table. All in all, the event lasted from 5 to 11 pm. Well worth it - we recommend.
