The hike with Chris was wonderful- beautiful scenery and great conversation. Some of the spots were a bit challenging, but Chris encouraged me and I felt quite accomplished when we were finished. On the other hand, my husband enjoyed a thrilling plunge into a water filled basin, which was quite novel and exciting for him; I chose the role of “designated photographer” on that occasion 😂 At the end of a beautiful day, Chris provided us with a homemade dinner that was a perfect way to end the trip/ highly recommended -

I wouldn’t recommend this experience based on how I was treated. The host was noticeably dismissive with me, while being friendly and attentive towards the others in the group. The difference in treatment was obvious and made the experience uncomfortable. I decided to complete the hike because I already started. If I had known the treatment I would face, I would not have signed up. Travelers should be aware that the environment did not feel inclusive or welcoming.

Highly recommend this tour as Chris was very knowledgeable of the area which was beautiful and It was a great workout. I was planning on trying to do the hike on my own but I am so glad I found this experience here. Also the food and wine Chris provided after the hike was too notch and typical of the Algarve region. If you are looking to explore this coastal area and experience it’s natural beauty and get in some exercise at the same time this is for you!
