This was a truly unique and meaningful tour. The highlight was getting to know Nhung and her family—they welcomed us into their home with warmth and generosity, sharing their personal stories and daily life in Vietnam. We enjoyed an incredible meal made from ingredients grown in their garden or sourced from the local market, which we also had the chance to visit. The tunnel tour was absolutely fascinating—an unforgettable glimpse into the underground world that was once a reality. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book this tour!

Nhung has created a beautiful and meaningful experience over the years and I'm so glad we had the chance to enjoy this day with her and her family! The hundreds of incredible reviews cannot lie. We wanted a more intimate learning experience about the history of vietnam and to get a bit away from the busyness of the city, and that is what you get. Nhung is one of the best guides we've ever encountered, which is amazing given her full time job as an IT delivery manager 😊 If you want to learn more about the life during and after the war and the impact it had on the vietnamese people, this is tour. As a bonus you still get delicous meals prepared by Nhung's mother and sisters, a degustation of tropical fruits and the time to breathe and enjoy the countryside.

This day with Nhung was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hearing stories from her about her mother — whom grew up right next to the Cu Chi Tunnels — from a first-person perspective was incredibly humbling.

Even more special was being welcomed into their home, dining with Nhung’s family, and sharing in their warmth and hospitality. For anyone seeking a truly immersive experience to better understand the history of Vietnam and the Cu Chi Tunnels, this is absolutely worth doing.

We were so well cared for — even treated to fruits picked fresh from their backyard. I’ll always remember this day, and I truly hope we can meet again, Nhung!

This experience was simply unique and amazing. Nhung and her entire family opened up their home to us. Her mum provided and shared with us traditional breakfast, lunch and fruits all from their farm - so much food we couldn’t eat another bite. We visited their local village and market, and she took us on a personal tour of the tunnels. What we loved the most was to share a day with Nhung and her family and learn not only about the history of the war, but also it’s personal impact on her family, the village and how they managed to survive and recover from it.
This tour is truely a unique experience to get to know life as a local and learn about the challenges of the past and the present.
