We had a great tour in Athens with Dionisis! It was a nice way to see the city with a local, who shared interesting stories and made us feel welcome. Overall, a good experience — we’d recommend it!

This tour was great and Dionisis is amazing. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and will always make sure to tailor the tour based on your interests. We had so much fun and great conversations too :) highly recommend!

What an AMAZING, unique experience that you can only get when guided by a true local!! Dionisis was extremely thoughtful in creating an experience to connect with the history, architecture, culture, mythology, nature, beauty, and magic that Greece has to offer!! Plus some good local wine too!! It was a nice and intimate experience away from all the hustle and bustle of the Acropolis and other tourist heavy areas. Such a perfect way to beautifully blend the best of Greece!! Dionisis is such a kind, thoughtful, communicative, and overall good human/guide. Highly highly recommend!! :)

I won’t speak on the experience since I wasn’t able to make it, but I will speak on the inaccurate meetup location & process.

Be sure to double check with the host that the meetup location is accurate. It’s not where it’s listed on the experience, and when the new location was sent, Uber AND Apple Maps took us to the sent location which was still incorrect even though it was copied and pasted from the hosts newly provided instructions. After acknowledging that we didn’t want to delay any further, i asked the host for a refund and he agreed.

On Airbnb the host has to initiate the refund but he never did. Instead, I was ghosted, and had to call Airbnb to resolve this issue. Luckily, I had receipts of the host agreeing to the refund as well as a screenshot of our exact positioning on a GPS with the address of his new requested meetup point & old.

Again, I’m sure this was a great experience in Athens and was sad to miss it, but I’m disappointed about the host not keeping his word.
