Do yourself a favor and book this experience. Sean is such a good storyteller and so knowledgeable in the history of Japan. He kept everything fun and engaging. I highly recommend.

Experience of a lifetime!

Had an absolutely amazing time on this very unique and interesting tour! Henry was a fantastic guide - so engaging and personable, and so full of knowledge about the history of Kyoto and Japan. This was one of the highlights of my trip as it was such an authentic and rich learning experience :)

Yuta showed us his favorite temples that were beautiful and out of the way. We would have never found them on our own. We also got to see the Golden Pavilion, which was an interesting comparison to these hidden gems. The e-bikes made it easy to get to different temples and shrines. We learned about geishas and a lot about Rinzai Buddhist philosophy and meditation. And Yuta was super knowledgeable about history generally. This helped make our short visit to Kyoto special.
