julio de 2025Evan and his first mate, Mats, were both very knowledgeable and fun guides on the sail around the bridge and bay. Although it was a bit foggy and waters were a bit rough out by bridge, they made the trip a breeze and it was a lot of fun seeing under the bridge and watching an oil tanker and other ships. Definitely would recommend, and will be going again if I’m back in the Bay Area!

julio de 2025Going on this sailboat was a one of a kind experience that I am so thankful I found and got to be apart of. Everything was so special & memorable for me, what made it even better was how down to earth Evan & his son were. Going under the golden gate bridge was awesome, especially with the waves crashing in and out around us. If you are prone to sea sickness, you may want to take something before but overall it wasn't that bad. Dress warm! I had a coat & beanie on, be prepared for wind!!

junio de 2025Evan provided an incredible, and unforgettable experience out on the Bay, and all 5 of us were extremely impressed with his professionalism and the quality of the sailboat. Evan gave us the option to either sail along the City/Alcatraz, or towards the Golden Gate Bridge...we chose the latter, though he made it clear that he may have to adjust based on weather. Ultimately, our pass under the bridge did not happen, through no fault of Evan...the winds picked up just as we were making our approach, and Evan expertly adapted to the unexpected conditions and instead had to steer us alongside the bridge, and safely back into calmer waters. As he referred to it, we experienced a bit of "Sport Sailing"; we definitely felt like we received a bonus round on the water, as it was quite exhilarating. The rest of the sail was very serene and peaceful, as we returned to the harbor just as the sun set over Mt Tam. Would highly recommend this trip with Evan, even for long-time Bay Area residents.
