One word. Serene. It was amazing, peaceful, and flat out WORTH IT. very mystical.

Amma was a great host that offered us a tranquil and splendid weekend. We had the company of many loving rescue animals such as a mule named Estrella (star of the show and loves carrots), sheep, and goats (Murphy and Ozzie were my favorites). The place was just a tad smaller than expected and a little drafty. We just needed to bundle up a little extra and that did the trick. Overall, Amma provided us with a memorable weekend in nature, surrounded by great, loving animals that are happy to welcome you into their sanctuary. Worth a stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We had chosen this place for our anniversary and were very disappointed that it looked nothing like the photos or description. Future guests should be aware that the place is no longer as shown in the listing. The listing says the place is up on the hill, but it was actually located down the hill in an overgrown, unclean area. After Hurricane Helene, the surrounding area seems to have been damaged and not maintained — there were bushes, and debris everywhere. The host hasn’t updated the listing or pictures to reflect the current condition. The tent itself was just placed inside a simple frame, and the environment around it felt unsafe and dirty.
