I came to Lancaster and wanted to do something special with my mom and signed up for this class. It turns out my 82 year-old mom was kind of tired and really couldn’t stand that long, but she sat in a chair and was treated like royalty by the host and everyone! It was really neat being in this class of some folks that have never done it and some that are really into it and Ret really made everybody feel at ease. She was so laid-back and yet really good at teaching us a skill that I have never tried before. It is so nice to walk away with a loaf of bread in this case two and a starter!!

This is the most enjoyable class ! She also treated us to her homemade peanut butter strawberry jam to die for apple butter and honey with homemade bread. It was so incredible.!!

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this class! Ret is extremely organized and knowledgeable about the entire sourdough bread baking process. Her kitchen was lovely, and the food she prepared for us was all homemade, unique and delicious. Ret is a warm, inspiring and overall exceptional host. The entire experience was truly five-star!!
