Idyllic.
It is hard to imagine a more beautiful location. The room has wonderful views of the lake to the rear and the mountains to the front.
The house was immaculate and furnished with great creativity and style.
For all that Ted and Linda allowed us to relax as if our own home.
Excellent hosts who gave us useful pointers on the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed this cooking class with Chef Ted and Linda and appreciated that they were more than willing to do a vegetarian version of the shepard's pie. The food we cooked was so good we basically wiped the dishes and our plates clean! We ate our meal outside and enjoyed the beautiful nature surrounding their home and even got a few guest appearances from their two cats. Chef Ted also shared with us his favorite restaurants around Stowe (where we were staying) and because of that, we had the best dining experience of our entire trip at Hen of the Wood. Thank you so much for opening your home, sharing your expertise, & giving us great recommendations!

Ted and Linda were very welcoming right when we arrived!! The accommodations and surroundings were beautiful and the conversations we had with them were very enjoyable and relaxed.
