Hace 3 díasI had a great time learning about salsa and handmaking tortillas, and our host was very thoughtful in answering all of our questions, before we even asked them! I now have a newfound appreciation for both salsa and corn tortillas, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the class.
The dinner after the class was also delicious and I loved the entire set-up that our host had prepared. It was cozy and allowed us to converse with our host afterwards.
This class was my top experience all week at Mexico City, would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Hace 4 díasWe had an amazing time learning about all the different variations of salsas and about the tortilla making process. The class is a perfect blend of hands on experience and leisurely fun. Eduardo is such a wonderful teacher and his home is beautiful! Our favorite experience of our trip!

Hace 6 díasWe received a private Tamale lesson from Eduardo because no one else signed up, their loss! This class is hosted by Eduardo in his beautiful apartment. Eduardo is very friendly and knowledgeable, we wish we could have spent all day hanging out with him! His English is excellent and his teaching methods were very accessible, first demonstrating technique and then allowing us to create. The recipe itself was easy and repeatable, without any fancy ingredients that we wouldn't be able to find in the store (at least in Texas stores), and the Tamales were incredibly delicious - we gave one to our doorman who suddenly became much friendlier after trying some. To top it off, we ate on his gorgeous rooftop surrounded by amazing plants.
I would budget an extra hour for the class, as the tamales cook for ~50 minutes.
Would definitely recommend this or any class from Eduardo.
