It was a really good workshop and Chris was very knowledgable and friendly! Great energy and mindset, I loved it! Maybe not the most appropriate workshop for people with 0 knowledge about whisky (as it was my case)and I wouldn’t recommend for people not fluent in English (I am). Nonethless it was a really cool experience that I would definitely recommend!

This experience was fantastic on several levels. Foremost was the presenter Chris and his personal stories that blend humor and life experiences with great information about how to make and modify the perfect cocktail! Secondly we learned all about what goes into making a cocktail. Simply put I had no idea it was this complex. From the way you mix the ingredients to the way you stir, to the way you treat the rim of the glass, “Little details matter.” Chris says on repeat. Finally he ended with how to modify the basics like adding a pinch of something to subtly change one aspect of the drink or even how to “wash” your spirit in another flavor to create something truly unique. While Chris has respect for the art of the cocktail this wasn’t church. He wasn’t going tell us anything we did was wrong. This was much more like learning Jazz from an artist who had spent a career in hospitality and now wants to share his knowledge with eager newbie mixologists!

Chris was a great guy to meet and give insight into Nashville! And he teaches how to make a damn good old fashioned.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the mixing drinks and entertaining the crowd(only 6 people).
He has over 25 years experience in hospitality and culinary which really added to the experience. The recipes are easy to follow and by teaching us the basics of a good cocktail I feel confident I can repeat the process. You’re also given the opportunity to contact him the future if you have any questions or advice needed. My friend and I truly enjoyed the whiskey workshop experience and highly recommend it to future guests to Nashville.
