Matteo took us to the fresh food market and explained how to pick the freshest goods. This was very interesting! However the best things were Matteo’s associations with the various establishments for tastings which we would never have seen or been into. Just beautiful skilled and hardworking people who shared their food with us. Highly recommend!!

Our host Matteo was so knowledgeable about food and the areas history. He went above and beyond to make sure we got immersed in the food and culture. He made us all feel very welcome and by the end of the tour we made connections with everyone! We highly recommend this tour.

I had a wonderful time with Matteo and our small group. The tour moved at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time for questions. I enjoyed Matteo’s deep knowledge of Italian ingredients and his dry humor. Every stop felt well-curated. My favorite was the market, which was lovely and full of variety.
