The stay at this Airbnb was overall disappointing. Although communication with the host was timely and polite, the accommodation itself was located in a basement and felt very damp, dirty, and had a noticeable odor. The level of cleanliness was a major concern—there was dust on tables, dental floss in the bathroom bin and between couches, unwashed cups in the cupboards, and sanitary items found under the beds. It made me question if the bedding had even been changed.

Noise was also a significant issue: loud sounds from upstairs, especially during the night, combined with an old refrigerator and laundry room creating disturbing noises made it nearly impossible to rest. Additionally, reaching the property was difficult due to the extremely narrow access, which was a challenge for luggage. A dead rat found in front of the door was extremely unsettling.

While the host communicated well, I cannot recommend this property given the hygiene, safety, and comfort issues I encountered during my

Great stay in the lovely Ukrainian Village neighborhood. Everything worked great and the place was well maintained and stocked with towels, etc.

The path to the apartment entrance in the back of the unit is a narrow one, but as long as you are just bringing luggage, you should be fine.

The unit smelled of weed throughout. The blankets and bedding also smelled. There was hair in bathroom floor and not enough towels for number of guest it had been reserved.

Inez is a great host her place is lovely exactly like the photos and close to the heart of Chicago while being in a peaceful neighbourhood, definitely recommend!
