This experience was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of my trip to India! From the moment I arrived, Akash made me feel welcome and at ease in his lovely Navi Mumbai home. The cooking class was both fun and educational. I learned how to make authentic and delicious Indian dishes, with Akash patiently guiding me through every step. It wasn’t just about cooking – he shared fascinating stories about Indian culture, traditions, and spices that made the session so much more meaningful. The flavors were exquisite!
The spice market/store experience was equally delightful. They were grinding the pieces right there and then. Akash helped me purchase spices for myself and for souvenirs. We then went on to discover his neighborhood where we sampled some street food, albeit we were so full :-) We stopped for Filter-Coffee and more shopping It was amazing!! Akash’s knowledge of his neighborhood and his tips on what to buy and how to use the spices was invaluable. Thank You, Akash!!
