This was a great, well-rounded tour. The van was modern, spacious, and had Wi-Fi. The guide gave useful info en route and walked us through key logistics when we arrived (tickets, bathrooms, food). The forest walk to the tower was easy and beautiful—perfect for our 9-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. Beyond what’s listed, there was a small farm with goats and chickens, wildflower fields you can walk through and pick flowers, plus a pond for swimming (too cold during our visit). The kids loved picking blackberries and exploring the woods. The food at the site was excellent—multiple stalls with burgers (including veggie), pasta, coffee, and pastries. The guide joined us again for the troll sculptures, which were fun for photos and climbing. It’s mostly self-guided, but well-supported. A great mix of nature, fun, and flexibility packed into 5.5 hours. Highly recommended for families looking for a light adventure and variety in a short amount of time.
