It’s a great walk since any walk in Venice is great. Annachiara is very personable and pleasant. If you know nothing at all about Venice - you’ll enjoy this tour a lot

Anna was prompt, very friendly, and so professional. She knew the subject matter extremely well (since she has a masters in History) and is passionate about the area, the art, and Venetian history. She took the time to introduce herself and give us an overview of the tour via pictures. She even took us on a church tour (not included) while waiting for other guests to join us.

I loved how she connected the area's deep history, past residents, and famous sights as we walked through neighborhoods, public parks, and city churches. Local residents recognized and greeted her as she pointed out famous squares, buildings, statues, and bridges.

My family had a wonderful time. It was a perfect 2 hours well spent to get a layout of the city and give us a brief overview of its importance. The pace was good. I liked that we were a small group --- added a nice personal touch.

Annachiara is an art historian and this tour gives you an historical introduction to the city, and its political and financial centers—Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Market. She is an interesting storyteller, and very helpful with answering questions and making recommendations. It is a good way to start a Venice visit, learning about the city’s long history and geography.

Annachiara was engaging and energetic. We loved being in a less trafficked area of Venice seeing more local life. Very knowledgeable. It was such a wonderful experience - I’d recommend to anyone coming to Venice.
