What a fascinating hike. Scott has a vast knowledge of the land and the secrets of the past. You wouldn’t have experienced anything like this on your own. So glad we did it. We walked where few have been in hundreds of years. The waterfall was beautiful. Highly recommend. His son and dog were great companions too.

What a magical trip! Scott met us at check in and led us on a guided tour to the falls behind the house. He’s a wealth of knowledge. The location is very peaceful and secluded, but 10-20 minutes away from markets and local restaurants.

Perfect location - isolated and quiet but within driving distance to a number of attractions and dining. Scott and his family have done a great job furnishing the cabin and thinking through everything guests would need.

Scott and his family were some of the most welcoming people I have ever encountered. Scott was responsive, attentive, but never imposing as a host. The posted pictures on the listing are underselling this experience. Truly idyllic environment.
