Beautiful loom workshop with a lovely owner. Host was super friendly and helpful, plus being surrounded by the old traditional looms provided a sense of peace. The weaving was quite calming, and I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a more slow paced and relaxing activity.

Alexandra hat die Technik des Webens sehrgut erklärt und war stets mit einem Lächeln für uns da. Es war ein wundervolles Erlebnis, das wir mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen können!

I had an incredible time at Alexandra's weaving studio. She is a great teacher, very personable and warm, and the class flew by. I made the trek from Heraklion (about 1.5 hours away) and it was 100% worth it! I would go back to visit her anytime. Her studio is beautiful and has a view of the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone interested in textile arts.

My friend and I planned to do this as soon as we saw it before we even booked the trip.

When we got to Crete we realised it’s a bit of a way away from our accommodation but we hired a car to do some things and make sure we definitely got to do this!

There was great tea and coffee, the studio was really great. It was professional but so homely with working looms visible as well as a selection of their work - we loved seeing this.

Alexandra introduced us to who was working there at the time and gave us an explanation of the different looms and what they’re used for. This was great for us because we wanted to learn about looms and weaving in general.

We liked the way Alexandra taught us. We were set up on a loom each, picked out what colours we’d like to use and taught how to do a few different types of stitches. There was a great balance of being shown and left to figure it out and enjoy alone.

We want to come back and do the longer sessions, we LOVED this experience!
