Learning scrimshaw with Brian was awesome! He knows so much about the history of ivory and whaling and tons of other stuff related to it. We got to see awesome examples of different kinds of ivory and some scrimshaw examples. The best part was doing the scrimshaw from start to finish including sanding and polishing the piano key, etching, painting, and finishing as a bookmark!

Spacious 1 bedroom in a quiet neighborhood, steps away from eastons pond, beach and the cliff walk. Brian is a very friendly, helpful & response host. I recommend to anyone who is looking to spend extended time in the area.

My husband and son (15 yo) and I all enjoyed Brian’s history, demonstration, and guidance in the craft. My husband and son equally enjoyed Penny the dog!
