Caro was a lovely host. She was attentive, charismatic, and knowledgeable. From sampling the mezcal to learning how to properly curate a cocktail, I truly enjoyed the experience. My only issue was locating the venue; which was part a technical problem(Uber presented a different drop off point) and me being “navigationally” challenged. I would suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early just in case.

I really enjoyed this Mezcal cocktail class! While I wouldn’t say the overall experience was particularly unique compared to other mixology classes, the space itself absolutely was — beautifully designed and styled like an elevated speakeasy. We started with a Mezcal tasting and some background on its history, which I appreciated, and then moved into making three different cocktails.
It was also a great social experience — we got to interact with others in the group, and I even ended up going out afterward with a few girls who were traveling together! The host was friendly and shared great local recommendations for places to go afterward. Overall, it was a fun, beautifully set, and well-rounded experience that I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Mezcal and good company.
