We met at her store where we could shop

No questions were asked about our vintage style.

We walked to a food market (nothing to do with vintage)
When we walked past a organic beauty store my daughter was interested so we went in
That was one of the stores she said she took us too.
Then to a wine shop where we stood around a table and had 1/4 of a glass of cheap wine. She took the rest of the bottle. She pointed to a few stores that she liked then she took us to a diving restaurant where she didn’t even ask us what we wanted. She gave us a plate of sardines and a glass of tab water.

All this for $165.

Avoid

The beginning started off a little awkward. We were waiting in front of the shop for a while before Nina arrived. We went on a walking tour and really didn’t see that much. We were taken to a few shops where Nina was known or who were friends of Nina, the second last stop of the ‘tour’ ended at a wine store where Nina ordered two bottles of wine she enjoyed. We were not asked what we liked or our preferences. Perhaps the icing on the preverbal cake came when she left us high and dry in a vintage store after buying something for herself. Nina is nice enough, but the value of the experience did not match the cost.

This was so fun! The experience was very personalized, and felt like hanging out with a friend who loved and was interested in telling you about their city. Nidzara was a lovely host, catering the experience to my interests. It was interesting to learn about Croatia, Zagreb, and some of her favorite places in the city. Her shop was thoughtfully curated and I left with a few very special pieces. I’d highly recommend this experience.

This was a unique and thoroughly original orientation to the city of Zagreb! Nina touched on everything— history, architecture, commerce, how local people live and navigate life in the city. We explored markets, shops, ate great food, sampled delicious local wine, and walked away with a new friend here in beautiful Zagreb!
We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path and gain a perspective on life in the city away from some of the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist attractions. We can’t think of a better way to have started our experience here in Zagreb!
