Our original guide texted us at the time of meet up to say he would be 10 minutes late, then someone else showed up. He was nice enough, however a few things he said, we knew for certain to be incorrect. We learned things that we would never had known without the guides expertise, about history.
I definitely recommend you take a tour to get to know the town.

This was so much fun! It was my husband and I's first time in Croatia and this was the first thing we did when we arrived. Our tour guide was local and gave amazing recommendations and provided a lot of fun insight about Croatia in general. It was a pleasant surprise but we did get off and walk around and walk through the palace which was great. Again our tour guide was amazing and we got to spot for lots of great pictures. Highly recommend if you are visiting for your first time and want to see some unique spots in a fast way!

Our host was very accommodating, we booked very last minute and they still arrange a guide for us. The young fellow Martin was funny and helpful. We enjoyed seeing Split in a relaxed way after many days of walking.
