Loved this activity, a great way to stop amongst the hustle and bustle of Rome and really study your surroundings - and get your creativity going. Kelly is a great teacher, directing activities that suit all levels of skill, she has really inspired me to pick up a pencil and start drawing again - it’s been a loooooog time.

This was a great introduction to urban sketching taking in locations which are a natural source of artistic inspiration. Kelly was an excellent teacher with a sound approach to help even the absolute beginners like me get a lot from the experience. Given the hassle and bustle of Rome it is a special experience to let all that wash over you while you sit peacefully and take time to appreciate the detail while capturing it on paper.

Kelly was super nice, we went to different locations and sketch first with pencil, then pen and at the end watercolor.

I had such a wonderful morning with Kelly and the other lovely travellers. We went to some beautiful spots, and learnt some new drawing techniques which were so great! Leaving with a handmade journal was also a lovely touch! Would recommend to anyone!
