La Jolla Shores near the Children's Pool. But it's not a children's pool it's really a place for a bunch of seals to hang out, it's a great scenic area, fun to take pictures, has a relaxing atmosphere, and is a great place to picnic.

Otherwise known as Seal Cove, this protected area is FULL of resting Sea Lions & their young. Excellent viewing area from the stone walkway that wraps around the cove!

Great place to see sea lions and harbor seals. Please do not approach the seals and let them bask in the sun.

The Children's Pool is a small beach partially protected by a seawall. The original intention was to create a fully protected swimming area, but in recent years sand has filled in much of the area inside the wall.
