You can walk from the Top of the Wharf to the Ferry Terminal on the Dartmouth Harbourwalk Trail, that leads you through the Ferry Terminal Park, which houses the World Peace Pavilion.

What better way to spend time than walking along the waterfront and watching the Harbour traffic. Fascinating past time for kids and adults. Wonderful playground and great picnic spots as well.
