The original Fat Cactus - now and for always - they also have one in Cape Town City Centre and Woodstock - which ever one you visit - the food will not disappoint and the vibe is exciting and fun - bring friends and have a ball.

While we know that our American friends are appauled by what we deem to be Mexican food, this local spot is perfect for a drink and the chance to meet locals. Definitely try the strawberry&lime margaritas, ice-berg, nachos and actually most things are pretty good - just don't have high hopes its real Mexican. Walking distance from our flat!! Although we probably wouldn't walk after dark - rather Uber.

Great selection of tequila and decent Mexican inspired menu. Go to watch the game or for drinks and tapas. Has an outdoor seating area - a neighbourhood favourite.
