Beautiful park in the centre of Dunfermline, with lovely views over Edinburgh. The grounds of the park are stunning, and the resident peacocks sometimes make an appearance, if you are lucky. Kids can enjoy feeding the squirrels, or looking at fish in the greenhouse, or if you are needing them to burn off some excess energy then there are three play parks to take your pick from.

This public park of outstanding quality was gifted to the people of Dunfermline by Andrew Carnegie, the Scottish born American industrialist and philanthropist. Pittencrieff Park covers 76 acres and offers recreational facilities for children's play, greenhouses and woodland walks. You can also admire the statue of Carnegie and explore the fascinating Pittencrieff House Museum.

Donated to the people of Dunfermline by Andrew Carnegie. His statue stands as a thank you. There is a hot greenhouse with various tropical plants. Stream wood walks, cafe, playareas and a peacock sanctuary.

The Glen is right next to the Abbey. There’s lots of space for a walk, beautiful gardens, a tea room, play park. Take nuts with you to feed the squirrels. You’re guaranteed to also see our Peacocks
