Situated in old repurposed industrial buildings with a train station past, this museum and art gallery is a great place to visit. one of my favourites. Great for families and anyone really. The planetarium it has been said is one of the best in the world.

Great Australian history! Has some interesting information regarding everybody's favourite .... the Tasmanian Tiger, including video footage! Loads of information about our Aboriginal past and plenty for the children to get involved in! Free entry with a great cafe offering tasty food. The staff are friendly and approachable. The Planetarium is well worth the price of a ticket! You wont be sorry you made the effort to visit : )

The exhibits here are always changing, and you'll learn about so much more than the history of this town and state. Kid friendly too, and a great spot - this area hosts Mona Foma in Northern Tas!
