Old commercial area which has gotten new recognition with the numerous bars, beer houses and clubs that have flourished over the past decade. Try Valaoritou, Sygrou, Leontos Sofou and Fragon streets if you are students, like crowds in the summer and affordable drinks. Don't go if you don't like loud music.
